Solid Waste & Recycling Division

The Solid Waste & Recycling Division is here to:

Provide environmentally sound and safe disposal of solid and hazardous waste, provide waste reduction and recycling opportunities and to increase public awareness within the City of Auburn.

In recent years, landfill and conservation issues have changed the way our community thinks about garbage. In order to ensure resource conservation, Auburn offers a variety of garbage, recycling and yard waste services to residents, multifamily complexes and commercial businesses.

The Solid Waste & Recycling Division offers information on: Garbage & Recycling, Waste Prevention,  Hazardous Waste Disposal, Natural Yard Care, and Environmental Education.
