The Art with Artists is a series of classes and workshops conducted by artists whose work has been exhibited in one of the City of Auburn's galleries. It is presented by the Auburn Arts Commission and City of Auburn Parks, Arts & Recreation.

OCTOBER 8: Winter Wonderland-Panel Collage for Teens with Ellen Ito Thursday, October 8, 6 – 8 pm Senior Center, Weese Room Use your imagination to create a fantasy wintertime world using collage, stencils, acrylic paint and metallic markers on wood panel boards with professional artist Ellen Ito. The artwork created in this two-hour workshop we be part of an exhibition at the Auburn Avenue Theater. Grades: 6 - 12 Fee: $5 Auburn Resident/$10 Nonresident
OCTOBER 10: Textile Manipulation with Grace Willard Saturday, Oct. 10, 10 am-3 pm | Les Gove Building Combine image transfer, papermache, appliqué and embroidery to create unique fabric statements. Ages: 10 and over. Fee: $35Auburn Resident/$44 Nonresident; $10 supply fee payable in class.
NOVEMBER 22: Painting Murals for Teens Sunday, November 22, 10- 3 pm Auburn Ave Theater Work with a small group to fine-tune a design, transfer imagery to an interior wall and then paint and seal a mural within the Auburn Ave Theater. 10 – 3 pm Grades: 6-12. Fee: $5 Auburn Resident /10 Non Resident
DECEMBER 12: Enamel Projects for Holiday Gifts Saturday, December 12, 9 – 4 pm Les Gove Building The art of creating with enamel on metal is a well-documented art form. Participants will learn basic enameling procedure and simple techniques such as stenciling, sgraffito, overglazes & underglazes on copper to create holiday pendants, pins, or ornaments. No prior metalwork experience necessary. Ages: 15 and over Fee: $35 Auburn Resident /Non-Auburn Resident $20 supply fee payable in class
