Comedy at The Ave is proud to host the first round of the 30th Annual Seattle International Comedy Competition. The Ave is thrilled to be one of several venues in Western WA hosting the 30th annual SICC festival! The first group 16 contestants will compete on Nov. 6 and the second group of 16 contestants will compete on Nov. 12. That’s 32 comedians and 160 minutes of non-stop hilarity!

Joey Jewell's performance is true to the incomparable phrasing and vocal texture of Frank Sinatra and evokes the swaggering spirit of the Rat Pack and Vegas in their heyday. And Jim Kerl's big band has the energy and excitement to keep you going all night, wonderfully smooth and sophisticated arrangements, and the musical chops and passion to play it all.
The show is smart, funny, and a wonderful tribute to the lost art of livin' it up. You'll feel like you're in "The Big Room" at the Sands and life is good."

Each and every holiday season for 24 years, Grammy Award-winning artists, Eric Tingstad and Nancy Rumbel have been home for the holidays, creating a longstanding tradition with Northwest families. Their holiday presence illuminates the enduring spirit of the season with a gift of song. The perfect blend of Americana fingerstyle guitar, double reeds; and the ocarina emitting the nostalgic sound of penny whistles, lends magic to the season that fills the world with hope through the redeeming power of music. This year, bass player, Garey Shelton will join Tingstad & Rumbel in quintessential holiday fare.
