AUBURN, Wash. - August 26, 2010 - The City of Auburn Emergency Management Office is pleased to announce the addition of 13 new members to the area’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), bringing the total number of graduates in the local program to 276. The 13 new members graduated from the area’s 15th CERT course which included 3 days of intensive training. AUBURN, Wash. - August 10, 2010 - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, provided an update yesterday regarding the status of the Howard Hanson Dam and the potential risk of flooding in the Green River Valley. The Corps is now reducing the risk of flooding on the Green River to 1:60, down from the last estimate of 1:33.
