Adopt-a-Street

Adopt a Spot CrewThe City of Auburn is proud to announce the establishment of Auburn's Adopt-a-Street/Spot Program. The program is a partnership between volunteers and the City of Auburn to create a better living environment by reducing street-side litter and improving general appearance throughout the City.

Participating groups agree to remove litter from an assigned section of street or right-of-way at least four times a year, over a minimum one year period. The City will provide volunteers with safety supplies and training, bags and pick up and disposal of full bags. Additionally after volunteers complete their first clean-up activity the City will install a recognition sign with your name on it to thank you for your efforts.

Auburn is a green city and we want to keep it that way. Adopting a street or spot shows pride in the city and it’s a great way to show that you and your organization care. You can get involved in the Adopt-a-Street/Spot program with your business, club, organization, school, or family and help make Auburn "More Than You Imagined!"

Download the Adopt a Street application form (PDF). If you want more information about the program or to apply to adopt a location please contact Amber Price at 253-804-3120 or email Amber Price.
