Auburn’s Kids SummerStage Just Around the Corner

Kids SummerStageThe Auburn Parks, Arts & Recreation Department, along with series’ sponsor, Franciscan Medical Clinic - Auburn, is excited to announce the rockin’ Kids Summerstage 2014 line-up. The combination of entertainment and available park activities will ensure these noon concerts are a real treat for all attendees.

The series is held at Les Gove Park, 910 Ninth St. SE on Wednesdays at noon, beginning on July 9 and ending on Aug. 13.  The now six-week series will be held adjacent to the Discovery Playground. Attendees are encouraged to pack a picnic lunch and spend the afternoon in the beautiful Les Gove Park!

July 9 Recess Monkey
A trio of Seattle teachers that will entertain with their irresistibly catchy music.  This hour will be jam-packed with singable, danceable ‘kindie’ songs that parents enjoy as much as their kids.
July 16 Eric Herman and the Thunder Puppies
The ultimate musical experience…Eric singing his amazing songs with his 5-piece live band, rocking-out with high energy and non-stop audience interaction.
July 23 Jeff Evan’s Magic Show
A thrilling magic show that is sure to captivate audiences young and young-at-heart. Jeff guarantees an unforgettable show that will have you leaving wondering, ‘How does he do that?!?’
July 30 The Not-Its!
The opportunity to give your kids their very first, epic rock show experience!  A high-energy performance that will get the whole family on their feet. Grab your pink and black tutus and your pink skinny ties and join The Not-Its! nation!
August 6 Reptile Isle
Always a hit with kids, Reptile Isle intrigues and educates his audience and provides a hands-on component at the end of the show.
August 13 Eric Ode
The highly popular award-winning singer/songwriter, Eric Ode will entertain will his kid-approved music and interactively fun performance.

And if entertainment wasn’t enough, an ArtRageous hands-on art component will be offered each week – free of charge. Participants will get the opportunity to learn various art techniques from professional artists. All craft projects are offered as a take-home project from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Sample activities include a mini piñata with artist Paco Velez, marbleized paper with artist Mary Ellen Bowers and a pipe cleaner birdfeeder with Cindy Wickenkamp.

About Franciscan Medical Clinic – Auburn
