City of Auburn Biennial Budget Passed by City Council

Auburn Mayor Pete Lewis is pleased to announce that the 2013-14 budget has been passed. “After two years of work, five budget review sessions, a public meeting and lots of public notices, the Auburn City Council passed the 2013-2014 Budget on December 3rd,” he said. “The Council has committed to a budget that will keep our public safety services at current levels and aims to maintain the value and quality of life of our community for the next two years.

“It is a tight, balanced budget that still provides for a reasonable reserve at the current level of spending.”
