Come to the Downtown Auburn Chocolate Walk Jan. 31

2015 Chocolate Walk FlyerThe Auburn Downtown Association is hosting its first Chocolate Walk in downtown Auburn from 4 to 7 pm. This event will bring chocolate to life and fun for all ages! Those attending the event will enjoy chocolate tastes from Downtown Chocolatiers Gosanko Chocolate, Jason’s Coffee Shop & Bakery, Rainbow Café, and Zola’s Café. Also, the Muckleshoot Casino Pastry Team will host a tasting location as well as a demonstration of dessert artistry.

The event includes 16 venues with 6 Art Creation Stations for kids and 6 wine tasting venues for adults.  Featured wine includes Devorah Creek, Cedar River Cellars, Mt. St. Helens and more.  Chocolate tastes includes local and international candy, chocolate-chip cookie bites, brownie bites, mini cupcakes, and hot chocolate.  More chocolate than imaginable.

Tickets for chocolate only are $10.00 pre-event and $15 day of event. Wine and Chocolate tastes are $20 pre-event and $25 day of event. Proceeds go toward the revitalization of downtown Auburn in meeting event costs, façade improvement, and community celebrations.

Attendees are welcome to start at the Auburn Downtown Association office at 402 E Main ST, Suite 150 in downtown Auburn.  There will be event maps, event passports, and information available.  A passport will encourage those attending to visit all venues and participate in a drawing.

Auburn Valley Buick GMC is hosting an event shuttle in downtown along the event route. In addition, Valley Buick GMC has included a free car detail in the passport drawings, and discounts on oil changes.

Special thanks go to Event Sponsors: Iron Horse Casino  and  Auburn Valley Buick GMC.
