Auburn to Host 7th Annual Disaster Fair September 15

The City of Auburn Emergency Management Office is promoting National Disaster Preparedness month by hosting Auburn's 7th Annual Disaster Fair on Sunday, Sept. 15 from 10 AM - 3 PM at the Plaza Park in downtown Auburn, at Main Street and Division Street. This is a fun-filled event for the whole family, featuring disaster preparedness information, ideas, demonstrations, and supplies. 

There will be events and activities for everyone, including informational booths, vendor booths, disaster response demonstrations, hands-on activities for kids and adults, and preparedness information. Tours of the City’s Emergency Operations Center will be available and door prizes will be given away hourly. This year, attendees will be able to receive a personalized map of the hazards that affect their home, as part of the King County Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan public meeting process.
