Reception to be held honoring individuals for their contribution to the City of Auburn

Auburn Mayor Pete Lewis and the Auburn City Council will be hosting a reception on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 to recognize and honor the following individuals for their service to the City of Auburn:

  • Diane Rupert for her dedication in gathering funds and gifts for local agencies and residents of Auburn
  • Victoria Knight, 2013 Miss Auburn and 2013 Miss Auburn’s Outstanding Teen Amanda Enz as they begin their year of service to the Auburn community 
  • The city’s Planning and Development Director, Kevin Snyder who is relocating to Arizona

The reception will take place in the lobby of City Hall from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. located at 25 West Main St., Auburn. After the reception, these individuals will be presented with official city awards and proclamations at the regularly scheduled City Council meeting which will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers.

The public is encouraged and welcome to attemd both the reception and the meeting to recognize these citizens who have helped to make Auburn “More than you imagined.”
