Auburn's International Festival set for Sunday, August 11

PAYO Girl International FestivalThe City of Auburn invites all to come downtown for the 2013 International Festival. This fun, community-wide celebration embraces and celebrates the diverse cultures that make up the City of Auburn. The event will be held on Sunday, August 11 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. in Downtown Auburn, located on 1st St. SW between A St. SW & South Division St. and is a tie between the Auburn International Farmers Market and Auburn Days.

The International Festival will feature an entertainment stage, community vendors, arts and craft vendors, an ArtRageous Zone featuring serapes of Mexico, and other activities for kids.

Entertainment Stage Line-up:

  • 10:00 a.m. – Russian-Ukrainian Parousia Musicians & Vocalists
  • 10:35 a.m. – Joyas Mestizas (mariachi dance)
  • 11:10 a.m. – Abdoulaye Sylla (interactive drum and dance)
  • 12:05 p.m. – Jeweled Scarab Dance Company (bellydance)
  • 12:45 p.m. – Island Bound (Reggae)
  • 2:15 p.m. – Global Heat (world music)
  • 3:30 p.m. – YMCA Zumba (dance)
