Hearing Examiner

The office of the Hearing Examiner was created by the Auburn City Council to review and interpret land use regulations; conduct public hearings; make decisions and recommendations on land use applications; and review and hear other matters as provided for in Auburn City Code. The City Council adopted the hearing examiner system to ensure the fair and impartial decisions are made on quasi-judicial project permits and other matters.

Please check at the Permit Center to confirm a hearing date, as it is not uncommon to have additional hearing dates and/or to reschedule the regular meeting.
