Environmental ProgramsEnvironmentImagine a time when Auburn-area rivers flowed wild, coniferous old growth forests and game were plentiful, and people relied on the area’s natural resources for sustenance. Although we have seen significant change in the landscape in the past 150 years, Auburn maintains natural resources that are of regional significance. Natural Resource Management integrates all components of city government in the preservation and maintenance of these resources for the benefit of the community and for future generations.
