Traffic Advisories
- M Street SE Construction to affect traffic beginning April 16th
AUBURN, Wash. – March 30, 2012 – Starting Monday, April 16th, 2012 through approximately February 2013, weather dependent, the Contractor of the ‘M’ Street SE Underpass project will close ‘M’ Street SE between 4th St SE and 6th St SE to through traffic for construction activities. Signed detour routes will be provided during the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained and businesses will remain open during construction activities. Detour Map (PDF)

4th Street SE and 6th Street SE now open to through traffic
AUBURN, Wash. – May 15, 2012 – The Contractor of the ‘M’ Street SE Underpass project has opened the following streets to through traffic:
- 4th Street SE from L Street SE to ‘M’ Street SE. Caution is advised as the traffic signal at this intersection has been replaced with stops signs.
- 6th Street SE from L Street SE to ‘M’ Street SE.
‘M’ Street SE between 4th St SE and 6th St SE will continue to be closed to through traffic for construction activities until approximately February 2013. Signed detour routes are posted. Pedestrian access to residences will continue to be maintained however, access under Highway 18 is unavailable during the ‘M’ Street Closure.
