Rich Wagner

Rich Wagner has served on the Auburn City Council since 1990. Wagner is Chairman of the Public Works Committee and a member of the Planning and Community Development Committee. He is also Chairman of the Community Center Committee. In addition, he serves on the Metropolitan Solid Waste Management Advisory Committee (MSWAC), the Regional Access Mobility Partnership (RAMP) and the Puyallup River Watershed Forum. He has also previously served as a member of the City Council Committees on Municipal Services and Finance.

Wagner is married to Kay Wagner, a homemaker and seamstress. They have four adult children who have all graduated from Auburn schools during the 30 years they have lived in the city.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University and a Master of Science Degree in Engineering from Santa Clara University. He is currently retired from Weyerhaeuser where he worked in research and development of building products.
