Cheryl Sallee Gallery

The Cheryl Sallee Gallery is located at the Auburn Senior Activity Center, 808 Ninth St. SE.
Visit Monday–Tuesday (5:00 PM – 9:00 PM) or Wednesday–Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) to view outstanding artwork by emerging and established Puget Sound artists.

January–February:

Kent Valley Artists

Kent Valley Artists (KVA) members display artwork of diverse media and inspiration.  Participating artists include Patricia Tanton, Paul Langston, Georgia Heimbach, Pam Turpin, Sandie Hawkins, Janette Templeton, Marilyn Hooper, Helena Poortvliet, Jim Babst and Lydia Sutton

March–April:

Marina Shats

Artist Marina Shats paints a whimsical series of crazy men who work to court famous sculptures of women throughout the world.  Offering a glass of wine to the Statue of Liberty or a rose to Venus de Milo are humorous stories carefully painted in Acrylic.

Rebecca Baumgartner

Pastel artist Rebecca Baumgartner creates calming scenes that focus on a theme of journeys and finding a place to rest, and a place of peace and healing.

Steve LePenske

Photographer Steve LePenske is inspired by the beauty of the natural world and is motivated by the challenge of capturing it.  As an advocate for a sustainable relationship with our environment,  LePenske’s photography is intended to awe and inspire.

Katelyn Cooper

Katelyn Cooper is an 11-year old photographer who has been taking photographs since the age of three.  At age 9, she began selling her work at craft fairs, mall boutiques and online.  Katelyn enjoys photographing nature in wildlife, particularly in Washington and Western Montana.

Senior Art Showcase

Senior participating in the variety of art classes offered at the Auburn Senior Center showcase photography, watercolor and oil.
