Online Police Report

If this is an emergency, call 911. (If you are on a cell phone, ask for Auburn 911.)

Before filing an online police report, please read the following criteria:

  1. This is not an emergency.
  2. This incident occurred within the Auburn city limits.
  3. There are no known suspects.
  4. This did not occur on a state freeway.
  5. You have a valid email address.
  6. You are the victim of one of the following:
    • Unwanted phone calls of an annoying, harassing or threatening nature
    • Property is missing or lost
    • Your property was taken without your permission, and there are no known suspects
    • Theft of personal property from vehicle (not vehicle parts or accessories); no known suspects
    • Theft of auto parts or accessories; no known suspects
    • Bicycle is stolen; no known suspects
    • Theft of services
    • The act of changing, modifying or defacing/damaging public or private property
    • Prowling around/in a vehicle; no suspects; nothing missing; no vandalism to vehicle

If the above statements are all true, you are ready to file your report online. If not, please look at our Frequently Asked Questions section.

Upon completion of this process you will:

  • See the words: "Your report has been submitted" showing that your report is complete
  • Be given a case number
  • Be able to print a copy of the report to keep for your records

Please Note:

  • All cases filed online will be reviewed.
  • Upon review, if further investigation of your case is needed, you may be contacted.
  • Filing a false police report is a crime.
