Les Gove Park Multi-Purpose Building
Les Gove Park is popular with Auburn residents for its ease of access and variety of activity areas. One of our older parks, Les Gove Park was dedicated in 1966 and was named after the former Auburn Mayor Les Gove. The 20-acre park has rolling mounds and meadows with 100 cherry blossom trees given to us from our Japanese Sister City, Kasugo, Japan. In addition to the amenities listed above, the park boasts baseball and soccer fields, as well as horseshoe pits and bocce courts. Reservations and payments can be made by calling 253-931-3043, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. or can be made in person by visiting the Parks, Arts & Recreation office, 910 Ninth Street SE. To ask about specific date availability, call the Parks and Recreation Administration Office at 253-931-3043 or check out the availability online at Auburn@Play. |
