Collection Delays

Bad Weather

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY (for Waste Management Customers):

The solid waste haulers in Auburn are committed to providing reliable collection for all customers. However, in the event that circumstances such as unsafe roads interfere with service schedules, we appreciate customer understanding and cooperation.

If weather conditions prevent safe collection:

  • a double load of garbage and yard waste will be collected on the next scheduled collection (1 week).
  • a double load of recycling will be collected on the next scheduled collection (2 weeks).

Please pull your containers back from the curbside if they are not collected on your scheduled collection day.

No credit will be given for delayed collection due to inclement weather or road conditions.
