WOOD & YARD WASTE, LANDSCAPING/LANDCLEARING

RECYCLING & DISPOSAL

Definitions:

Landscaping and Landclearing material includes yard waste, rock, brush, woody waste (larger than 4" in diameter) and clean or contaminated soil & sand, dirt or sod.

  • Bush & Woody Waste includes woody prunings, branches (larger than 4: in diameter), and debris from trees, shrubs or bushes.
  • Yard Waste includes Christmas trees, leaves, grass, clippings, plant material, prunings, branches (under 4" diameter) and other debris from a private residence or business property.

Clean Wood includes wood that is untreated, unstained and unpainted such as: construction lumber, pallets, plywood, OSB, and branches (larger than 4" diameter).

Dirty Wood includes wood that is treated, stained or painted, and railroad ties. Please dispose of these materials properly at a King County Transfer Station. Must be less than 8 feet long
