Workforce Development

Workforce Development, Business Assistance and Business Development Programs are services routinely provided through our Office of Economic Development and we are able and willing to assist clients with specific training needs upon request and if the specialized training your firm requires cannot be accomplished by us, we will work with Workforce Development Partners to develop the appropriate training program. Auburn School District

The Auburn School District is committed to working with our local businesses to develop programs that position graduating high school seniors the opportunity to step directly from school into productive living wage jobs. Green River Community College (GRCC)

One of the States largest Community colleges, GRCC located in Auburn, offers a wide range of personal professional development courses as well as business development courses. Information regarding their programming may be found on the Green River Community College Website.

GRCC - Customized Workforce Training

Green River Community College offers Customized Workforce Training which includes Business Incentives. The program provides a 50% reduction in Business and Occupation State Tax to participating businesses. Visit the WorkForce College website for more information.

State of Washington

WorkSource is an integrated, high quality delivery system for an array of employment and training services designed to enhance the effectiveness and coordination of employer and job-seeker services. WorkSource, located in Auburn, can provide your company with human resource assistance, help during layoffs, and access to resources for business development - free of charge.
