Traffic Advisories

15th Street NW – Terrace Drive to Pike Street NW

Starting February 16, 2017 through approximately February 28, 2017, construction of the West Hill Springs Improvement project will require lane restrictions for both west bound 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and east bound 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM traffic on 15th Street NW from Terrace Drive to Pike Street NW, for water main installation and roadway restoration.  This work is dependent on weather.

Access to residences and businesses within the project area will be maintained during construction but delays should be expected.  Alternate Routes are advised.

I Street NE – 30th Street NE TO 28th Street NE - ROAD CLOSURE

Starting on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 to approximately March 10, 2017, construction work on I Street NE will require the closure of I Street NE between 30th Street NE and 28th Street NE from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This work is dependent on weather.  A detour route will be posted.

Access to residences and businesses within the project area will be open during construction activities.

2nd Street SE - South Division Street to A Street SE

On February 17, 2017 construction of the Merrill Gardens project will require daytime lane restrictions on 2nd Street SE from S Division Street to A Street SE between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM for construction activities. This work is not dependent on weather.

Access to residences and businesses within the project area will be maintained during construction, but delays should be expected. Alternate Routes are advised.

15th Street NW/NE Corridor

Beginning February 8, 2017 construction of the Traffic Signal Safety Improvements project will require disruptions to multiple intersections along 15th Street NW/NE during the hours of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. It is anticipated that this work will continue through approximately March 17, 2017.

Access to residences and businesses within the project area will be maintained during construction. No more than one intersection will be impacted at any given time, however delays should be expected. Please use caution and pay close attention to police officers, flaggers, and construction sign directions.

Auburn Way South/SR164 - City Limits to 17th Street SE

On February 13, 2017 through approximately February 17, 2017, construction of the Wave Broadband Auburn to Enumclaw Fiber Optic Line will continue to require intermittent daytime lane restrictions in both the west bound and east bound directions of Auburn Way South/ SR164 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, Monday-Friday from SE 368th Place to 17th Street SE This work is dependent on weather.

Access to residences and businesses within the project area will be maintained during construction, but delays should be expected.

1st Street NE and Division Street

October 28, 2016 through March 31, 2017, construction continues on the MultiCare Improvement Project and will require intermittent lane restrictions from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM on 1st Street NE from Division Street to Auburn Avenue and on Division Street from 1st Street NE to 2nd Street NE.

Access to residences and businesses within the project area will be maintained during construction but delays should be expected. There are several construction projects occurring simultaneously throughout the downtown area. Your continued patience and caution is appreciated.

West Main Street - Interurban Trail to West Valley Highway

On August 23, 2016 to approximately February 17, 2017, construction of the West Main Street Multi-Modal Corridor and ITS Improvements project will require sidewalk and lane closures on West Main Street from the Interurban Trail to West Valley Highway for construction activities. One travel lane in each direction will be maintained and a pedestrian detour route will be posted. This work is dependent on weather.
