Cell Phone Program

The Family Violence Unit has implemented a Cellular Telephone Program that is designed to enable victims of domestic violence to place a call for help when they most need it. Too often there are barriers that prevent someone from calling 911. It is our philosophy that in today's society not being able to afford or have access to a phone is not an acceptable situation. We have established this program to provide cellular phones to people who may be at risk of physical harm.

If you believe that a cellular phone would enhance your safety, please contact the Auburn DV-Victim Support Team at 253-804-3106 (2) to leave a message about obtaining a cell phone that will enable you to call 911. To insure the integrity of the program, a member of the Family Violence Unit will screen all callers.

If you wish to donate a cellular phone to this program, please call the number listed above to speak to a member of the Family Violence Unit.
