Two Flood Preparedness Meetings to be Held in AuburnFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: October 12, 2009 Contact: Jessie Clark, Emergency Management AUBURN, Wash. – October 12, 2009 - The City of Auburn has scheduled two public informational meetings for residents regarding the increased risk of flooding iin the Green River Valley. The meetings will be held Saturday, Oct. 17 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 24 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the Auburn Performing Arts Center (PAC) located at 700 East Main St. American Sign Language Interpreters (ASL) will be available at the Oct. 24 meeting. Representatives from the Army Corps of Engineers, King County Flood Control District, and the City of Auburn will be on-hand to provide information and answer questions.
