1. What type of payments do you take?

We accept cash/check/money orders/cashiers check/Visa and MasterCard.

2. How do I pay for a fine (parking citation/citation/criminal fine)?

  • You may mail it in with a check/money order/cashiers check.
  • You can make a payment over the phone.
  • You can come to the court house to make a payment.

3. Can I do community service for my fines?

Yes.

4. How do I sign up for Student Court?

You must come to the Auburn Municipal Court to be referred to student court.

5. Is anyone eligible for Student Court?

No, you must attend one of the Auburn High schools, never attended student court before and live in Auburn.

6. Where is Student Court held and how often?

Student court is held the first Wednesday of every month from October–June. It is held at Auburn School District's James P. Fugate Building, 915 4th ST NE, Auburn Board Room, 3:30 PM–5:00 PM

7. How do you sign up for work crew?

To sign up for work crew you will need to go to the Human Resource Department, 25 W Main ST, Auburn. There you will fill out an application and have a background check done.

8. What are the hours of work crew and location?

Monday–Friday from 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.

9. How or why was I selected for Jury Duty?

You are selected at random from lists of voter registrations, driver registrations, and WA State ID card for residents of King County.

10. How do I quash my warrant?

If first time and less than $5,000, not DV or DUI/Physical Control: You may quash at the front counter one time with ID.

If second or more times and warrant is more than $5,000, is DV or DUI/Physical Control: The Court provides walk-in court 5 days a week Monday-Friday. You must sign in at the front counter between 8-8:25 AM to be placed on the calendar. You will go be for the Judge that morning to address the warrant.
