Auburn Parks Accepting Applications for Summer EventsContact: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: January 15, 2010 AUBURN, Wash. - January 15, 2010 – Vendor applications are now being accepted for Petpalooza, KidsDay and the 4th of July Festival. Vendor opportunities range from food, child- or pet-related sales, educational, arts and crafts, or non-profit depending on the event. There are also sponsorship packages available for businesses looking for cross-marketing benefits and on-site privileges. Sponsors receive an incredible promotional package in return for sponsoring the event. It’s a great way to get involved in the community and develop a broader customer base. Sponsorships start at just $350 and vendor booths start at $40. Food vendors are accepted at all three events, although space is limited and the City of Auburn does not duplicate major food items. The fee to operate a food booth is $200/event ($40 for non-profit organizations). ABOUT AUBURN'S SPECIAL EVENTS KidsDay is planned for Friday, June 25 at Les Gove Park. This festival generally accepts child-related non-profit vendors and craft vendors, youth educational vendors and recreational vendors. Vendor prices for KidsDay are $10-$125, based on vendor type. Application deadline for KidsDay is Friday, May 28. Shortly following KidsDay is Auburn’s annual 4th of July Festival. This festival generally accepts craft vendors and non-profit agencies. Prices vary based on vendor type, however craft vendor fees are just $40/booth. The City of Auburn doesn’t ask for a percentage of sales, so vendors get to keep 100% of their revenue! Electricity and water are available for an additional fee and on a limited basis. Vendor applications are available on-line and in the Auburn Parks Administration Office, and can be mailed or e-mailed upon request. Space is limited, so please submit your application soon. We can create a unique atmosphere for companies to introduce positive products and services to these customers in highly populated settings.” To find out how your business can take advantage of Auburn Parks, Arts & Recreation’s sponsorship options by contacting Kristy Pachciarz at 253-931-3052 or via email at kpachciarz@auburnwa.gov. # # # City of Auburn Parks, Arts & Recreation |
