Auburn Police Seek Assistance in Identifying and Apprehending Bank Robber; Reward Offered

AUBURN, Wash. - December 30, 2009 - The Auburn Police Department is seeking assistance in the identification and apprehension of a white male in his mid-40s that was involved in a bank robbery on Dec. 17 at about 12:45 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank located inside the Top Foods grocery store on Lake Tapps Parkway.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid 40’s, about 5’7” with a heavy build and blond hair. Photos taken from the bank's security cameras are below:

Wells Fargo is offering up to a $5,000 reward for original information leading to the identification, apprehension and conviction of the person(s) involved in the robbery. The Auburn Police Department is asking anyone who has information on the suspect pictured to contact the Auburn Police Department tip line at 253-288-7403.
