Auburn’s Summer Sounds & Cinema Announces Event Line-Up and Series Sponsor

Family-friendly outdoor entertainment and blockbuster movies planned for this summer!

AUBURN, Wash. – March 11, 2010 - The Auburn Parks, Arts & Recreation Department, along with MultiCare is excited to announce the Summer Sounds & Cinema Series 2010 line-up. The combination of entertainment and movies will ensure Friday nights in Auburn are blockbuster evenings.

“We are thankful that MultiCare has come forward to support this outstanding outdoor entertainment series for our citizens,” says Parks, Arts & Recreation Director, Daryl Faber.

“We enjoy providing this outdoor concert and movie series,” explains Faber. “It gives Auburn residents the opportunity to meet their friends and neighbors for an unforgettable experience. The free event series has proven to be a family favorite and blends in with our family-approved programming.”

The series kicks off at Sunset Park on Friday, August 6 with entertainment provided by The Rowdy Referees Family Fun Game Show and a screening of Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs (PG). Food concessions, operated by Auburn’s Youth Council, will be available at the events for a nominal fee. Patrons are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnic blankets for a refreshing evening under the stars!

Be sure to enjoy the entire August line-up of outdoor entertainment and movies on the following dates:

(Entertainment begins at 7 p.m. with the movies following at dusk.)

Movie: Back The Blind Side (PG)
