Auburn welcomes Cycle Therapy to DowntownFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: October 25, 2010 Bob Smith or Ric Hutchens, Co-Owners Sharon Patonai, Economic Development Specialist Kevin Snyder, Planning & Development Director AUBURN, Wash. – October 25, 2010 – Auburn residents will soon be able to buy a new bike or get their bike serviced conveniently in downtown Auburn. The City of Auburn is pleased to welcome the second location of the highly regarded Cycle Therapy to Auburn. Cycle Therapy will open its newest store on Monday, Nov. 1 at 104 East Main St. Cycle Therapy is co-owned by Bob Smith and Ric Hutchens and will offer bicycle sales and service. The store will sell multiple well-known cycling brands including Kona, Raleigh, Diamondback, Redline, Niner, Santa Cruz Mountain Bikes and Seven Cycles. Cycle Therapy will also offer prompt and quality bicycle care services to its customers including its signature “Free Service for Life” for customers that buy a new bike from any of their top brands and receive all minor adjustments for free.(Does not include non-normal wear and tear repairs.) Auburn Mayor Pete Lewis, an avid cyclist, is excited to have Cycle Therapy come to Auburn and particularly in downtown. “I was very happy when Bob joined our Bicycle Task Force several months ago. Bob and Ric’s decision to locate in downtown Auburn is a great addition to our downtown business mix. Plus, their store’s close proximity to the Interurban Trail will be an added benefit for the many riders that use this important north-south trail for commuting and recreation,” said Lewis. Hutchens of Cycle Therapy states, “I first became passionate about cycling here,” said Hutchens, an Auburn native. “For me, cycling is a way of life that is fun, healthy, and good for the environment.
