AUBURN, Wash. - December 15, 2010 - Rhys Thomas and his Science Circus will be hitting the stage on Saturday, Jan. 22 at 2 p.m. as part of the Auburn AVE Kids series at the Auburn Avenue Theater. Newtonian physics just got much more interesting!

Explore gravity through bowling ball juggling, gyroscopic stability through glass bowl spinning, centripetal force with cowboy lariats, center of mass on an acrobatic ladder, and inertia with the old table cloth pull. Add the irresistible force of levity to even more tricks and you’ve got a rough idea of what the Science Circus is all about!

A former Junior High School teacher, Rhys decided he’d rather juggle knives. He couldn’t cut out teaching completely, however, so he created “The Science Circus” – an exploration of Newtonian physics through circus arts.

Auburn AVE Kids showcases local, regional and national acts and touring presentations with an emphasis on audiences ages four through 12 and their parents. We invite you to share these magnificent moments on stage where extraordinary things come to life, making Auburn AVE Kids More Than You Imagined!
