Holiday season kicks off with Erwilian’s holiday concert Dec. 3 at the Auburn Avenue TheaterFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: November 29, 2010 Contact: Julie Brewer Erwilian: www.erwilian.com WHAT: BRAVO presents Erwilian Holiday Concert AUBURN, Wash. - November 29, 2010 - The unique blends of Erwilian’s Holiday Concert will demonstrate BRAVO’s Winter sound Friday, Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the Auburn Avenue Theater. A vibrant and refreshing departure from today’s homogenized world of music, Erwilian shapes their unique sonic blend around traditional melodies with distinctly modern influences. This concert marks Erwilian’s fourth annual Holiday performance. Instruments range from recorders, guitars, and drums, to the more unusual – bouzouki, hammered dulcimer – and just about everything in between. The same can be said of Erwilian’s personnel, where each member of the group brings to the table his or her musical influences, from classical to pop/rock, new age to bluegrass. With the raw energy the band brings to the stage, audiences are always in for an exciting and engaging live concert performance. Erwilian originated as an acoustic experiment by Seattle-area musician Scott Melton who, with friend Jordan Buetow, formed the group in 2002, releasing the Christmas album “Troubadours” late that year. Over the next three years the band evolved into Erwilian as it is known today. Erwilian has performed all over the region acoustically, for the holidays, and to benefit their local communities. Don’t miss their holiday stop at the Ave. The City of Auburn BRAVO Performing Arts Series includes music, dance, and theater performances for all ages throughout the year. We invite you to share all these magnificent moments on stage where extraordinary things come to life, making Auburns BRAVO Season More Than You Imagined!
