Notice of Application: Willow Lane Apartments

AUBURN, Wash. - August 10, 2010 - This notice is to inform you that the City of Auburn has received the following application(s) that may be of interest to you. The application(s) may be reviewed at the City of Auburn Department of Planning and Development, One East Main Street, Auburn, WA 98001.

Nature of Project or Request: Applications for an Administrative Use Permit, Multiple Family Design Review and Building permit for the site preparation and construction of three-story, 10 dwelling unit apartment building on a 13,200 sq. ft. site located in the C3, Heavy Commerical zone. The proposed project will also include the construction of associated parking, utilities, and half-street improvements.

Location: 802 - 24th Street NE, on the south side of 24th Street NE approximately 110 feet west of the intersection of 24th and I Streets NE. Parcel No. 512540-0241

Public Comment Period: A public comment period is required associated with the Administrative Use Permit and Multiple Family Design Review. You are invited to comment, request a copy of the decision, when available, and be made aware of any appeal rights. Comments must be received in writing by the Auburn Department of Planning and Community Development at 25 West Main, Auburn, WA 98001-4998 before 5:00 p.m. on August 25, 2010.

Public Hearings: A public hearing is not required for the project. However, per ACC 18.64.020 the Planning Director may elect to require a public hearing to be held.

Statement of Consistency and List of Applicable Development Regulations: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with the Auburn City Code, Auburn Comprehensive Plan, Public Works Design and Construction Standards, Building Code and Fire Code.

Proposed Mitigation Measures: Conditions or mitigation measures may be required as part of the subsequent decisions. A copy of the decisions when available can be requested.
