UPDATE: Fatal Shooting in Auburn; Police Aprehend Suspect

10 a.m. - Auburn police have aprehended and arrested suspect in the March 30 fatal shooting. Suspect was arrested without incident in the 9800 block of S. 248th St. in Kent, Wash. The 28-year-old male had been identified to officers by the victim's son. Suspect has been transported to the Auburn Jail.

AUBURN, Wash. – March 30, 2010 – A 46-year-old male was shot and killed at approximately 3 a.m. this morning in a grocery store parking lot located at 1702 Auburn Way N. The victim’s 20-year-old son witnessed the shooting, called 911 and has identified a suspect by name.

The suspect had reportedly fled the scene on foot. A K-9 track was attempted; however the suspect was not located.

Officers performed CPR on the victim until Medics arrived. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Auburn Police are following leads to locate the suspect.
