2012 Auburn Police Department Citizen's Academy Now Open for RegistrationAUBURN, Wash. – December 14, 2011 - Auburn Police Department is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2012 Citizens Academy. Class begins on March 7, 2012, and attendance is free of charge, but registration is required as space is limited. If you have ever been curious regarding the workings of your police department, here is your opportunity to get an unvarnished look at the Auburn Police Department as well as direct, candid, first-hand information regarding this important function of the executive branch of your local government. The 2012 Auburn Police Department Citizens Academy consists of eleven Wednesday evening class sessions from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. and one Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Class graduation will be on May 16.
