Auburn’s Summer Sounds & Cinema Announces Event Line-Up and Series SponsorsContact: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: June 16, 2011 Family-friendly outdoor entertainment and blockbuster movies planned for this summer!
“We are thankful that both MultiCare and the Muckleshoot Casino has come forward to support this outstanding outdoor entertainment series for our citizens,” says Parks, Arts & Recreation Director, Daryl Faber. “We enjoy providing this outdoor concert and movie series,” explains Faber. “It gives Auburn residents the opportunity to meet their friends and neighbors for an unforgettable experience. The free event series has proven to be a family favorite and blends in with our family-approved programming.” The series kicks off at Sunset Park on Friday, August 5 with entertainment provided by One Eyed Jack and a screening of How To Train Your Dragon (PG). Food concessions, operated by Auburn’s Youth Council, will be available at the events for a nominal fee. Patrons are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnic blankets for a refreshing evening under the stars! Be sure to enjoy the entire August line-up of outdoor entertainment and movies on the following dates: (Entertainment begins at 7 p.m. with the movies following at dusk.) Packages can be customized to fit the needs and budget of various businesses and sponsors.
