Kristen Key head shotAUBURN, Wash. - March 8, 2011 - Last Comic Standing hits the Auburn Ave Saturday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m. with season 4’s Kristin Key. Kristen has also appeared on The Bob and Tom Show, Comics Unleashed, and major television networks such as VH-1, Bravo, and Fox Reality.

The daughter of a Christian minister, Kristen began her comedy carrier at the age of 19 in Amarillo, Tex. as the house MC at the Amarillo Comedy Club. In 2006, when the Club closed its doors, Kristen moved to Austin to pursue the big city comedy scene. Three months after the move, she auditioned for The Last Comic Standing and became the youngest person to make it into the semi-finals.

Kristen has since moved to Long Beach, Calif., but is still well known for her rapid fire style that made her so popular in the Texas panhandle. She now plays Los Angeles comedy clubs and tours to colleges and comedy clubs across the country.

Kristen now has two full-length comedy CDs, “The Preachers Kid Gone’ Wild” and “Buckle Up” with Uproar Records and is still going strong. She plans to record a new CD in June of this year.

Comedy at the Ave is a monthly comedy series that takes place at the Auburn Avenue Theater. Three comedians, one night, where you’re guaranteed to hear something you like.

The City of Auburn BRAVO Performing Arts Series includes music, dance, and theater performances for all ages throughout the year. We invite you to share all these magnificent moments on stage where extraordinary things come to life, making Auburns BRAVO Season More Than You Imagined!
