Location Change for Avenue Kids Show Science Circus on Jan. 22FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: December 15, 2010 Contact: Jim Westhusing Science Circus WHAT: AVE Kids presents Science Circus AUBURN, Wash. - January 19, 2011 - The location for Rhys Thomas and his Science Circus on Saturday, Jan. 22 at 2 p.m. has been changed to Washington Elementary located at 20 E. Main St. The show is part of the Auburn AVE Kids series. The show will explore gravity through bowling ball juggling, gyroscopic stability through glass bowl spinning, centripetal force with cowboy lariats, center of mass on an acrobatic ladder, and inertia with the old table cloth pull. Add the irresistible force of levity to even more tricks and you’ve got a rough idea of what the Science Circus is all about! A former Junior High School teacher, Rhys decided he’d rather juggle knives. He couldn’t cut out teaching completely, however, so he created “The Science Circus” – an exploration of Newtonian physics through circus arts. Auburn AVE Kids showcases local, regional and national acts and touring presentations with an emphasis on audiences ages four through 12 and their parents. We invite you to share these magnificent moments on stage where extraordinary things come to life, making Auburn AVE Kids More Than You Imagined!
