Marker Clean-Up Day scheduled at Auburn’s Mountain View Cemetery

AUBURN, Wash. – April 29, 2011 - Mountain View Cemetery has scheduled a weekend marker clean-up opportunity on Saturday, May 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to assist families in the care and cleanup of their markers at the cemetery in preparation for the annual Memorial Day Ceremony.

The annual Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony will be held Monday, May 30 at 10 a.m.

While the marker is considered private property and the normal care and maintenance of it is the responsibility of the respective family, cemetery staff will be on hand to help families during this yearly clean-up opportunity.
