Registration Now Open for Auburn’s Youth Summer Day Camps

AUBURN, Wash. – April 29, 2011 - Join the fun this summer in Auburn's summer day camps for elementary-agee children entering 1st-5th grade. Children are cared for in a well supervised, caring atmosphere with unlimited opportunities to participate in arts and crafts, games, cultural activities, field trips, cookouts and swimming. All activities are designed around a weekly theme. Camps are based out of Terminal Park Elementary from June 27-Aug. 26.

A variety of specialty camps are also being offered this summer. They include Fairytale Ballet Camps, Hansel and Gretel Ballet Camp, Gymnastic Camps, Sports Camps and more.

Camp operates from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. with extended hours available from 6:30-9 a.m. and 4-6:30 p.m. Extended hours included in camp fee. Camp fees are $165 per week for Auburn residents/$207 fper week for non-residents. Fee for the week of July 5-8 is $130/$163.

You may reserve a spot in camp with a $20 deposit that is non-refundable and non-transferable to other camps or classes. All deposits are applied to the session fee. Full fees due by Friday, six business days prior to each session.

Interested participants may register for classes and programs via Auburn@Play online at www.auburnwa.gov with no extra fees. Or in person at the Auburn Parks, Arts & Recreation Administration building at 910 Ninth Street SE or by calling 253-931-3043.
