Gothard SistersAUBURN, Wash. – February 17, 2011 - Celebrate St. Patrick’s day the Irish way with the Gothard Sisters at the Auburn Avenue Theater on Thursday, March 17 at 7:30 p.m. Green beer will be available for purchase for this special holiday event.

This is your chance to see a quality Irish performance without the travel expenses. Besides, everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day! Let the Gothard Sisters provide the entertainment! The show combines the best parts of Celtic Woman and Riverdance with the girl’s own twist.

The Sisters are all Champion Irish step dancers, complementing their dance skills with vocals and talents in instruments such as the guitar and bodhran. They cover such classics as “Caledonia” and “The Road to Lisdoonvarna,” as well as their own originals, releasing five CDs since 2006.

The girls have been playing violin and dancing since a very young age and have grown up performing on stages throughout the United States and Europe. They started with rigorous classical violin training and competitive Irish Dance, leading them to leadership positions in local Youth Symphonies and the Irish Dancing World Championships held in the United Kingdom.

The City of Auburn BRAVO Performing Arts Series includes music, dance, and theater performances for all ages throughout the year. We invite you to share all these magnificent moments on stage where extraordinary things come to life, making Auburns BRAVO Season More Than You Imagined!
