AUBURN, Wash. - September 29, 2011 - Comedy’s back! Did you miss it? The long, humorless summer is being ushered away Friday, October 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the Auburn Avenue Theater by headliner and Conan O’Brien guest, Sean O’Connor! If the sudden fall drizzle has got you down, get up and out…to The Ave!

Sean O’Connor is a Los Angeles based comedian who started comedy in New York. Upon moving to LA, he began writing for the Sports Show with Norm MacDonald on Comedy Central and has written for the MTV Movie Awards and MTV Music Video Awards. He had a successful webseries called “Sean and Meghan” about a couple who moves in with another not out of love, but because it saves them money. He has performed at SXSW, The New Orleans Comedy Festival and has been a “New Face” at the prestigious Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. In August of 2011, he made his late night television debut on “Conan” on TBS.

In 2007 the City of Auburn began the Comedy at the AVE Performance Series, expanding the entertainment offerings that have gone back over 30 years. Each monthly Comedy at the AVE features three comedians for a variety of entertainment to keep you laughing all night long.

The City of Auburn BRAVO Performing Arts Series includes music, dance, comedy, film and theater performances for all ages throughout the year. We invite you to share all these magnificent moments on stage where extraordinary things come to life, making Auburns BRAVO Season More Than You Imagined!
