Auburn to Host 5th Annual Community Disaster Preparedness Fair September 24

AUBURN, Wash. - September 17, 2011 - The City of Auburn Emergency Management Office is promoting National Disaster Preparedness month by hosting Auburn's 5th Annual Disaster Fair on Saturday, Sept. 24 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Les Gove Community Campus in Auburn. Parking is available at 12th St. SE and J St. SE. The fair is sponsored by the City of Auburn and the White River Valley Citizen Corps Council.

This event is a fun-filled afternoon of adventure and education for the whole family, featuring disaster preparedness information, ideas, demonstrations, and supplies.

There will be events and activities for everyone, including informational booths, vendor booths, disaster response demonstrations, hands-on activities for kids and adults, and preparedness information. Door prizes will be given away hourly!
