WHEN: Sunday, Dec. 4, 2 p.m.
WHERE: Auburn Performing Arts Center, 700 E. Main St.
TICKETS: Free, but required for admission. Tickets available as of Nov. 1 at the Auburn Parks, Arts and Recreation Administration Building, 910 Ninth St. SE, Auburn. Limit 6 per family.


AUBURN, Wash. - November 9, 2010 - Celebrate the holidays with this annual free community concert. The Red, White and Blue Holiday Concert is an Auburn tradition, taking place at the Auburn Performing Arts Center Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. Tickets are free, but required for admission.

Don’t miss the opportunity to hear this festive and rousing concert of patriotic music honoring our troops, together with all of your favorite holiday music and carols. Auburn’s own Mountain View High School Choir will join the 133rd Army Band of the Washington National Guard this year with a selection of some of their best numbers, plus a holiday sing-a-long.

The 133rd Army Band is a diverse group of musicians and ensembles, which serve the community and represent the Washington National Guard to audiences across the state. Members of the band range in age from their late teens to mid-fifties and represent a wide cross section of their community. With music educators and professional musicians, students and other career professionals, the 133rd Army Band is diverse in its professional composition These soldier-musicians are special people who possess a rare mix of both military and artistic abilities.

The Mountain View High School Choir has a tradition of excellence. Performing throughout the United States, the Choir’s musical repertoire includes classical, Broadway, Spirituals, jazz, contemporary and renaissance music.

The City of Auburn BRAVO Performing Arts Series includes music, dance, comedy, film and theater performances for all ages throughout the year.
