Storefronts Auburn Project Now Accepting Artist Applications

AUBURN, Wash. – October 25, 2011 – Storefronts Auburn, an offshoot of the Storefronts Seattle program, is proud to announce its first Request for Proposals. Storefronts Auburn is a neighborhood activation program, supporting the health and vitality of Auburn’s downtown through temporary pairings of artists and creative businesses with vacant storefronts spaces. Storefronts Auburn is now accepting applications for its three program tracks: Installations, Artist Residencies and Creative Business. Deadline for all applications is Nov. 9, 2011.

Installations offer artists a temporary storefront space to display any two-dimensional, three-dimensional or new media artwork. Artist Residencies offer artists of any discipline creative space to pursue new projects. Creative Enterprise provides a space to experiment and test out new creative business ideas.
