WHAT: BRAVO presents January Comedy at the Ave AUBURN, Wash. - January 11, 2021 - Been spending the gray winter months in gloom and sadness? Fear not! Comedy at the Ave picks up where it left off with it’s first 2012 show on Friday, January 13 at 7:30 p.m. Todd Sawyer, former Seattle Comedy Competition winner, Huffington Post writer, and co-host for the podcast “My Picker is Broken,” is slated to headline. A Northwest native, Todd began his stand-up career in Seattle in 1989. He has appeared on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, CMT’s Counry Music’s 20 Sexiest Women and in National Lampoon’s Funny Money. Todd has since performed all over the world, from comedy clubs in England to the most famous stages in America. Aside from stand up, Todd has also co-written and optioned three different screenplays, released two comedy CDs, You Get What You Pay For and Welcome Home, written for PAX TV’s Dirty Rotten Cheater, and written and produced several other TV projects. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his fiancé and two cats. In 2007 the City of Auburn began the Comedy at the AVE Performance Series, expanding the entertainment offerings that have gone back over 30 years. Each monthly Comedy at the AVE features three comedians for a variety of entertainment to keep you laughing all night long.
