Find out February 25 at 2 p.m. at the Auburn Avenue Theater. February’s AveKids show takes a classic tale and gives it a new twist. When Duke, an awful land-grabber, attempts to take away Princess Honey’s home, she needs a miracle to stop him. Instead she finds a very large frog who offers to help, but only in exchange for a promise. Will Princess Honey keep her end of the deal or will she throw the frog back into the pond and see if he floats? StoryBook Theater, the presenter of The Frog Prince, has been introducing Puget Sound area children to live, original theater since 1998. The company writes 55-minute musicals aimed specifically at 3 to 10-year-olds, while not forgetting about the parents, grandparents and teachers who bring them to the show. StoryBook creators believe in including life lessons in their shows. Characters not only learn lessons themselves, but teach those lessons to the audience as well.
