John Partridge

John Partridge started his first term on the Auburn City Council in January 2010. His current council assignments are with the Municipal Services and Planning & Community Development committees. During his first year, he served on the Finance Committee. In addition, John serves regionally with the Suburban Cities Association as the Vice-Chair to the King County Regional Law Safety & Justice committee.

Partridge is currently helping organize and serves as the council liaison for the Auburn Valley Humane Society whose goal is to provide budget effective, quality focused, and community based animal sheltering services to Auburn starting in 2013.

Partridge is a life-long resident of Auburn. He is a graduate of Auburn Senior High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Multnomah Bible College in Portland Oregon. He returned to serve as the Auburn Fire and Police Department chaplain for seven years and now manages a second generation family insurance business that was originally established in 1965. He is an active member and past president of the Auburn Noon Lions Club, Backstretch Chapel board member, member of Auburn Sons of Italy Lodge #1955, and was the charter treasurer of the Auburn High School PTSA.

He has been happily married for 28 years and has raised three lovely, community-serving daughters.
