Bill Peloza was elected to serve on the Auburn City Council beginning January 2004 through December 2007, re-elected for a second term beginning January 2008 through December 2011, re-elected for a third term beginning January 2012 through December 2015 and re-elected for a fourth term beginning January 2016 through December 2019.

Bill Peloza was elected to the Auburn City Council beginning January 2004 through December 2007, re-elected for a second term beginning January 2008 through December 2011, re-elected for a third term beginning January 2012 through December 2015 and re-elected for a fourth term beginning January 2016 through December 2019. He also serves as a member on the Valley Regional Fire Authority Governance Board. In addition, Bill serves on the following Regional Committees: National League of Cities - Board of Director's (2017/2018); Sound Cities Association (SCA), King County Regional Policy Committee (RPC); King County Metropolitan Solid Waste Management Advisory Committee (MSWMAC) - former Chair; King County Metropolitan Water Pollution Abatement Advisory Committee (MWPAAC); King County - Water Resource Inventory Area (WRIA 9) - Green/Duwamish & Central Puget Sound Watershed Management committee (Vice-Chair) and WRIA 9 Watershed Ecosystem Forum (WEF) – Co-Chair; and South County Area Transportation Board (SCATBd) - former Chair. In addition, Bill is a member of the Association of Washington Cities (AWC) Federal Legislative Priorities Committee and the Rail Transport of Hazardous As a Council Project, Bill organized the Auburn International Farmers Market (AIFM) after 2 years of planning as the Steering Committee Chair. The 9th Season opens Sundays from June through September 2017 (10:00 AM - 3:00 PM) at the Auburn Sound Transit Station Plaza.

Bill is active in the following organizations: Member & Past Trustee - Auburn Sons of Italy Lodge #1955; member & Past Trustee of former Auburn Elks Lodge #1808, member & Past VFW Commander - Auburn All American Post 1741 and member of the Auburn Rotary Club (former Board of Directors Community Service & Administration Chair's). Former organizations include: Chair of the Auburn Airport Advisory Board; White River Valley Museum Board of Directors; ACAP Board of Directors; Auburn Symphony Association; Auburn Police Department Volunteers; Boeing Management Association President (Retiree Chapter). In addition, Bill served as President of the Auburn Green River Men's Golf Club and Auburn Youth Soccer Club; He was a Commissioner for the South King County Soccer Referees Association; Junior Achievement Advisory Member & Instructor; Chinook Elementary School PTA Membership Co-Chair and Des Moines Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) President.

Bill attended the University of Washington School of Business and UCLA (specializing in Government Contract Management). He retired from The Boeing Company after 38 years of service. Bill's professional career was in Contract Management with emphasis in finance/budgets, cost and schedule performance and contract negotiations.

Bill is a Washington native, U.S. Navy Veteran and member of Holy Family Church. He and his wife Joyce live on Auburn's Lea Hill. A daughter and son attended Auburn schools.
