Claude DaCorsi

Claude DaCorsi began his term on the Auburn City Council in January 2014. He has over 20 years of experience in public works procurement and contract administration. In 2015 he retired as the Director of Capital Construction for the King County Housing Authority. He was the former Director of Construction and Development for the Grant County Housing Authority. He has over 40 years of construction management and executive management experience.

DaCorsi has a Master's Degree in Public Administration (MPA) with a specialization in government from Seattle University and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management magna cum laude from Northwest University.

DaCorsi is the Past President of the Sons of Italy Nuova Piccola Italia Lodge #1967 and is a member of the Auburn Sons of Italy Lodge #1955. He served as a volunteer chaplain for six years at the Walla Walla State Penitentiary. He also served as a District Governor for the California Jaycees and Past President of the Woodland California Jaycees.

DaCorsi is originally from Gloversville, New York and resided in California for 17 years. He relocated to Washington State in 1991 and has been a resident in Auburn for 11 years. He is married to his wife Mary, and has three grown children and ten grandchildren.

DaCorsi is a member of the National League of Cities (NLC) Transportation and Infrastructure Services Committee, Associated Washington Cities Federal Legislative Committee, the King County Growth Management Planning Council, the King County Regional Transit Committee, the Affordable Housing Advisory Board (AHAB), AHAB Policy Committee Chair, and the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) Board of Governance.
