Wayne OsborneWayne Osborne started his first term of office on the Auburn City Council beginning in January 2012. His current council assignments are the Public Works Committee, Community Center Committee and Vice Chair of Municipal Services Committee. Osborne represents the City on the LEOFF (Law Enforcement Officers Firefighters Disability) Board.
Wayne's previous community service included the Auburn’s Planning Commission, Airport Advisory Board and the Technical Working Group. In addition, he served and a volunteer fireman in Federal Way.
Wayne and his wife have lived in Auburn since 1975. They have three adult children who all graduated from Auburn High School and now have grand children attending the Auburn schools.
Osborne is a retired air traffic controller, having worked at the FAA facility in Auburn and the regional office in Renton. Prior to his FAA employment I worked for the Seattle Fire Department. Wayne also served seven years in the military.
